Growing Everyday

Beka joined the Math Explorers Club at school. Now, you have to understand my daughter she was really excited about this. She looked forward to it for weeks. I wanted her to have a great time. Well, what the club was about and what Beka thought the club would be about weren’t exactly the same. Beka thought they would be doing advanced math worksheets. Instead, they are playing math strategy games. She has fun and continues to go, but Beka feels a little misled, I guess. I find it funny that her idea of fun isn’t math games, but worksheets.

Finally, it has happened, Beka lost her first tooth. She has been looking forward to this for months now. She is so excited.

I have to say thank you to Grandma Sherry too. Years ago when the kids were little she made one of these for each of them.

It is a tooth fairy pillow to hang on your door. It was wonderful. No searching for the tooth on the floor under the bed in the dark in the middle of the night. It was right on the door…easy to slip out and easy to slip the money in.
