Kahla

My daughter has been begging for a dog since she could talk basically. So Andrew and I finally gave me and got her a puppy. The puppy is 11 weeks old and is a german shepherd mix. So far Kahla, the puppy, is really good. She does pretty well with sit and come. She is learning down. And is trying to learn wait. Now, if she could just get the hang of house training all would be well. I shouldn’t complain. The house training isn’t going badly; it is just exhausting. But I would take any advice people want to offer.

  1. Hey Jen! Congrats on the new addition! So cute! We have a German Shepherd as well and let me tell you that you want to go to the pet store right now and get the Ferminator (I think that is how it is spelled). This brush is amazing and gets more fur off of Sarge than any other we have ever tried! Plus the birds love to gather up the huge clumps and add it to their nests..lol! Love seeing your updates!

  2. Hey Jen, just found your page. I’m sure the kids are loving the dog. We got Tinkerbell for Olivia a year ago, but she’s taken to cuddling with me alot too (of course, she’s not as big as yours!) Anyway, we trained with “potty pads” in the kitchen, and Tink took to them well. She’s 14 months now, but if we don’t get her out in time, she always uses the pads.

Hope all is well with you guys!!
