Last Sunday, we took the kids to a Renaissance Fair here. I think they had the best time on the tractor ride to and from the fair, but we did manage to fit in a few other fun things.

When you first walked into the fair, a statue was handing out blessings. She handed you her story and sprinkled you with blessings (glitter). One section of the fair was set up as a kids carnival area. Beka had her face painted.

Jared had a sword fight which I didn’t get any pictures of. And both children went on a pony ride.

Of course, I had to lock both kids up in the stockade because what parent doesn’t dream of being able to do that just once.

We saw shows about predatory birds, pirates, cloggers, jugglers, and many other wonderful things. It was a really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

  1. Looks like fun. If the kids just like tractor rides they should visit Nodaway County. We have tractor rides all the time. ;)
