Yucky and Yummy

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

I have to write this down somewhere. Today at Jared’s preschool they had yucky and yummy day. Parents brought sauerkraut, rice krispies, mushrooms, jelly beans, grape juice, and black olives for all the students to taste test. I told Jared he at least had to try a little bite of everything to tell whether he liked it or not. I could not wait to get him from school.

"Jared, how was school today?"

"Good, but I puked."

"what do you mean you puked like really puked?"

"Yeah, I try the stuff made from cabbage"

"You mean the sauerkraut?"

"Yeah that and then I ran to the garbage can and puked"

I felt bad but I couldn’t stop giggling. The thought of him hating it so badly that he had to vomit was hilarious to me.

Pinwheels

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Beka, Jared and I love the dollar store; so many unique and intriguing items all for a dollar! Some days we go there just to look around, and some days we walk out with something like pinwheels. Beka and Jared were fascinated by these pinwheels. Luckily, it was a very windy day so the pinwheels were even more fun to play with.
