It is hot!
In the time we have been in Indiana, it has been really hot. Today it is actually a little cooler and as soon as this post is done, we are going outside. But I realize this is still the Midwest and this is August in the Midwest. Anyway, things are coming together. The kids are happy here. Now, that the house is mostly in order, I feel like I can start settling in a little more. I have found Jared a wonderful preschool that he will attend in the afternoons while Beka is at afternoon kindergarten. They are both really excited about going back to school. Beka is especially bored lately. In an effort to keep them entertained, we have made sock puppets and done puppet shows and Beka is making a book out of pictures she is coloring.

I have a few pictures of the house and surrounding area that I will post here too. The pictures are of the smaller pond/lake, I will try to get some pictures of the bigger one when we get outside.
