I handsome!

I know Andrew has mentioned that Jared has a slight obsession with washing his hands. So when he disappeared just now, I assumed that is what he was doing. Well, he just came out of the bathroom. He has gel and hairspray in his hair and has announced….”I handsome!”

On the mend

We’re slowly getting back to normal in the household. Jared has been the first to bounce back. He and mom played tag in the house yesterday. Beka went to part of preschool yesterday. Mom is starting to make a comeback, and I’m making an attempt at my first drug-free day in awhile. I took the good medicine last night. As commedian Dennis Leary calls it….The Green DEATH flavor medicine.

Late Night Hair Washing

Jared decided to get out of bed about an hour after we put him down. He’s been fascinated lately with washing. He’d spend 30 minutes washing his hands in the sink if we’d let him. He went into the bathroom and promptly coated his head with “grandma” shampoo that he got for Christmas. It took about 15 cups of water in the bathtub to get it all off.

Sickness

Saturday, we decided to have family fun. We packed the kids up and we all went swimming at an indoor pool in town. It was lots of fun. They have a waterslide and water shooting everywhere. Jared really enjoyed himself and Beka is learning how to go underwater. It really is fun to watch them play in the water.

Sunday, of course, was SuperBowl. I read a really good book. I am just not that into the football game.

And now Monday, we are all sick. Well, not Andrew. He is lucky like that. But we will survive. Any prayers for health would be appreciated though.
